Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated on Friday that everyone in the world has the right to learn about, enjoy, and benefit from Indian music.
The Prime Minister praised Pandit Jasraj for personifying the everlasting essence of music and praised Durga Jasraj and Pandit Shaarang Dev for carrying on the maestro's illustrious tradition.
Modi also mentioned the sages of Indian music culture and their enormous wisdom. The Prime Minister stated that what distinguishes Indian Classical music heritage is the capacity to experience cosmic energy and see music in the movement of the cosmos.
"Music is a vehicle that helps us transcend earthly attachments while simultaneously making us conscious of our worldly responsibilities," he stated.
Pandit Jasraj Cultural Foundation's objective of conserving India's rich cultural history was also lauded by the Prime Minister. He has requested that the Foundation concentrate on two crucial areas of the technological era.

The experience of Yoga Day has indicated that the world has benefited from Indian heritage and Indian music also has the capacity to stir the depth of the human mind. Every person in the world is entitled to know about, learn and get benefits of Indian music. It is our responsibility to take care of that," he said.
