Konidela Kalyan Babu, better known by his stage name, Pawan Kalyan is one of the biggest names in Telugu film industry. Popularized as PSPK (Power Star Pawan Kalyan), he is a multi-talented man who is not only an actor but also a producer, director, screenwriter, writer, and politician.

Pawan Kalyan debuted in 1996 and since then has done many landmark movies, one of which also got him Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Telugu. He was also listed 26th in the list of top 100 Celebrities, 2013 of the Forbes India.

Tholi Prema
Tholi Prema is one-of-a-kind film that broke many stereotypes of its time. The themes like the love between family members, skinny love, friends, college and passion for sports were explored beautifully in the film. In a time where 'macho' protagonists ruled the film scene, Pawan Kalyan as Balu was a refreshing change which moved audience towards sensitization, even if only an inch.

Think of Pawan Kalyan and the film 'Kushi' will automatically come to your mind. This romantic tale which is full love and hate is one of the crowd favourites. This movie is said to be a turning point in PK's career, this film helped him rose to fame. Pawan Kalyan's portrayal of Siddhu, a rich half Bengali-half Telugu college kid, became one of his most popular roles. This film made Kalyan a public favourtie.

Jalsa
After Khushi, Pawan Kalyan gave too many flops for many years. However, Jalsa in 2008 changed the game for him. This film became another turning point in Pawan's career. He played a very different kind of role in this movie. He portrayed a role of a gym instructor in this film who after getting rejected by the father of his lover, found comfort in his ex's sister.

Gabbar Singh

One of the best movies of Pawan Kalyan is a 1997 released, "Suswagatham", which starred Devayani opposite him. The movie is about a hero who in his search for love, lost more than what he bargained for. It is one of Pawan's biggest hits.

Thammudu

1999 was a big year in the career of Pawan Kalyan, as he delivered hit after hit during this time. His movie "Thammadu", which starred Preity Singhania was another big success of his career. Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi

This was Pawan Kalyan's debut film. It was released in 1996 and was produced by Allu Aravind. The film was directed by E.V.V. Satyanarayana, starring Pawan Kalyan and Supriya in the lead roles. Pawan Kalyan got recognition for the martial arts he performed in the movie. The film is a remake of the Hindi movie 'Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak.'

Puli is a 2010 Telugu action film written and directed by S. J. Surya, starring Pawan Kalyan in the lead role, with co-stars like Nikeesha Patel and Manoj Bajpayee. The film was made with a huge budget and did a fairly well business too. The film is dubbed into Hindi under the title 'Jaanbaaz Khiladi'.
