New Delhi, June 2, 2017: "Sachin: A Billion Dreams", the docu-drama on batting legend Sachin Tendulkar's life and Irrfan Khan-starrer "Hindi Medium" have been declared tax-free in the national capital.
The Entertainment Tax Branch of the Delhi government issued orders yesterday, giving both movies a tax-free status here.

"Sachin: A Billion Dreams" has been written and directed by James Erskine and produced by Ravi Bhagchandka. It has been already declared tax-free in Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Kerala, Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh.
"Hindi Medium", also starring Pakistani actress Saba Qamar, is also tax-free in Delhi, after being exempted of entertainment tax in Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Gujarat.
Directed by Saket Chaudhary, "Hindi Medium" is a satire on education system of the country where studying in English medium schools is considered a status symbol. (IANS)
