Uttar Pradesh, Mar 25, 2017: After ordering a blanket ban on smuggling of cows and emphazing that there will be zero tolerance regarding this matter, as promised by BJP's manifesto, Yogi Adityanath Chief Minister of UP has on Wednesday also ordered banning of pan masala and gutkha in all government offices, as reported by PTI.

Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday has directed police officials to prepare an action plan for closure of slaughterhouses across the state of UP. He had conducted an opinion poll in his personal website, and 80% of the respondents have voted for stronger laws against cow slaughter, 19% have voted against it.
He has also formed anti-romeo squads, Yogi Adityanath has asserted that his government would make sure that women can travel alone in UP even at midnight without fear of being harassed. He has said that he has given instructions to police officials that if couples are together at a public space with mutual consent, they should not be harassed.

In his first speech in his parliamentary constituency Gorakhpur after becoming CM on Saturday, he has vowed to end goodaraj in Uttar Pradesh as it had been successfully done in Gorakhpur, which was once known for its mafia.
He has said his government's motto is Sabka Saath-Sabka Vikas and asssures that there would be no discrimination against anyone in the name of caste, religion or gender and that there would be development for everyone and appeasement of none.

He had also said that as unemployment has been a major issue in UP resulting in migration of the youth to other parts of the country that job opportunities would be created for the youth and the government would work for better environment for the farmers and laborers.
He has also announced that the government would donate a pilgimmage aid of Rs 1 lakh to those going to Kailash Mansarovar and that Kailash Mansarovar Bhavan will be built at Lucknow, Ghaziabad or Noida.
