PM Narendra Modi pays Homage to Martyrs of 2001 Parliament House Terrorist Attack

New Delhi Dec 13, 2016: Prime Minister Narendra Modi while commemorating the sacrifice of the soldiers who lost their lives in the 2001 Parliament House terrorist attack paid homage to them on Tuesday.

PM Modi later on tweeted "Salutations to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives during the 2001 Parliament attack. Their bravery will never be forgotten."

The Prime Minister placed a wreath at the photos of the deceased in Parliament House complex, mentioned Zee News.

Five heavily armed terrorist infiltrated the parliament building in 2001 and began firing their arms during the time of Parliament session. Eleven persons including five policemen were killed during the attack.
