Prince Mohyuddin to India: Do not interfere in Balochistan matters

Islamabad, 25 Sept, 2016: Balochistan issue is important but a complicated one. The province's stability is indispensable, not only for Pakistan but for its neighbors as well. The rising problems with the resource-rich province are growing each day and seem to be endless. It has become a big issue for other countries in the region, and also for the key world powers.

But, according to media of Pakistan, on Thursday, Chief of Baloch Rabita Ittefaq Tehrik (BRIT) and former federal minister, Prince Mohyuddin Baloch asked Indian leadership to refrain from commenting about internal matters of Balochistan province.

He said it by referring to some of the statements of Indian politicians on Balochistan. He further added that there is evidence of Indian involvement in the Balochistan affairs, and now Indian leadership is again interfering in the internal matters of Balochistan so as to divert the attention of its human rights violation in occupied Kashmir.

In a statement issued, he said, "Baloch people and leadership played a pivotal role during Pakistan movement and rendered unmatched sacrifices for solidarity and integrity of their motherland."

He highlighted the sacrifices by Balochs for Pakistan in the past. Adding, Khan of Kalat hosted father of the nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah during the independence movement.

Later, Khan of Kalat announced to merge Kalat state in Pakistan voluntarily, on the eve of independence to further strengthen the newly made state. He said, "Baloch people were a patriot and supported all the efforts being made to Pakistan a developed and prosperous state."

Prince Mohyuddin Baloch promised to continue to work for the betterment of Balochistan and make an effort to unite the nation on the platform of BRIT.

He said, "Baloch youth should be imparted technical training so that they could get appropriate jobs in the projects being implemented under China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC)."
