Education System: Unique And Ironical

Education system in India started with 'Gurukul' system. A student who wishes to study goes to the teacher's home to study or as shown in different movies or pictures they used to study under a tree. There used to be separate Gurukul lodgements for both girls and boys. Girls received their education from only women–sages called Rishikas and Brahmavadinis , and boys got their education from Rishi. Education started before 5000 BCE. We can also say it started in the Vedic period.

If compared with contemporary era's education, education system then was a lot better. Teachers were a lot more respected; students were eager to learn. Today, Wikipedia tells us everything. Thanks to technology, we learn more from Internet than teachers. But even today, education of India is one of the best in the world and maybe that's the reason Indians are very successful in different parts of world.
For example:

Satyam Shivam Sundaram (Truth is Shiv and Shiv is beautiful). With this, I don't mean the quote but the three men who made India proud are Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft; Shiv Nadar, founder and Chairman of HCL; and Sundar Pichai who is CEO of Google.

In India, they still don't get amply supported. There are people who are very experienced and know their work but there is so much unemployment that they end up doing some small business in their life. Even for a teacher's job, there are like 1,000entries for just 1 post. What about the remaining 999 aspirants?

Sometimes people say half of America's economy is because of Indians. But then India has a lot more Indians than America, so why this gap? We need resources to learn, to prosper and to carve a niche in this changing world. But with such a large population, education system takes a hit and leads to unemployment for countless.
There is bhalla papdiwala who visits my place daily in a hope to sell his balla papdi. My dad told me that he did his MBA but just because he couldn't get a good job, he does this to make both ends meet. Shocking, but true!
He has done MBA and still he is not working in an air conditioned office but he is on Delhi's hot streets instead.
The irony is that the undeserving become ministers while those who deserve bite the bullet and end up reaching nowhere. There are so many deserving candidates who can actually make it worthwhile unlike the failed ministers who rant and rarely perform. In various parts of India, the scene is sans schools; many others have school with no teachers. On one side, we crib about unemployment and on the other there are places which don't give way to adequate education. We have creativity and intelligence but we lack resources.
How ironical is it but truly it is an Incredible India after all!
