In support of its long-term goal for robotics and mobility, the business unveiled its new idea of 'Metamobility,' which aims to pioneer a smart device-metaverse link that would extend mobility's function to virtual reality (VR).
"The concept underlying Metamobility is that location, time, and distance will all become unimportant," stated Chang Song, President and Head of Hyundai Motor Group's Transportation-as-a-Service (TaaS) Division.
"We will be able to freely move between the real world and virtual reality by linking robots to the metaverse," Song continued.
Hyundai Motor also discussed how robots would operate as a bridge between the actual world and virtual places, allowing users to make changes in the metaverse that will be mirrored in reality.
Robots will assist humans escape the physical boundaries of time and place through Metamobility, according to the business, by allowing them to communicate and engage in the metaverse. (IANS/PR)
