Shiba Inu, Dogecoin, Floki Inu and Samoyedcoin are all notable examples of cryptocurrencies that make up the canine crypto community. For a while now top dogs Shiba Inu and Dogecoin have been sitting pretty upfront, but when will these two cryptocurrencies come face to face with a worthy competitor? This is where HUH Token hopes to come in, but many before HUH Token have tried and failed to knock Dogecoin and Shiba Inu off the winner's podium.

So, will HUH Token be more bark or bite when it enters the cryptocurrency sphere?

The Birth Of Canine Cryptocurrencies

Dogecoin was created in 2013 by two software engineers who wanted to make fun out of cryptocurrency, and more specifically, Bitcoin. Ironically, Dogecoin surpassed all expectations and became a respectable and profitable investment prospect. Since then, a flurry of canine cryptocurrencies have emerged, all with the hope of being the next Dogecoin. In August 2021 there was roughly 30 doge related crypto assets that exist, and now there are roughly 45 cryptocurrencies that have the words 'dog', 'Inu' and 'Shiba' in their names. Some of the more successful canine copycats include Shiba Inu, Floki Inu and Akita Inu. Some of these cryptocurrencies have outperformed even some of the more advanced blockchain assets.

Elon Musk has played a pivotal part in the success of these cryptocurrencies as his outward support and tweets on Twitter have caused an influx in price every single time he mentioned one of the canine based cryptos.

It is worth noting that dog meme coins make up 5% of the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market cap.

What Tricks Does HUH Token Have Up Its Sleeve?

Elon Musk has played a pivotal part in the success of these cryptocurrencies as his outward support and tweets on Twitter have caused an influx in price every single time he mentioned one of the canine based cryptos.

If HUH Token wants to compete with the big dogs, then they are going to need to have a few tricks up their sleeve. One of the unique selling points of HUH Token is its revolutionary referral system. The developers state that their referral system allows buyers to enjoy two separate streams of income. The system works as follows; if you refer someone, you then receive 10% of their first purchase. What's more, you can refer as many people as you like and get to enjoy 10% of each referee's first purchase. The referee also benefits from this system as their sales tax is reduced from 20% to 10%

The second trick up HUH Token's sleeve is that they have self-proclaimed themselves as the first-ever 'Utimeme' – which means that HUH Token has a perfect balance of both meme and utility purposes. The utility aspect comes from the creators claims that they intend to provide real-world value by linking the distribution system to Binance.

There are plenty of meme tokens you can invest in, however, there is only one Utimeme currently. This is a significant feature HUH Token hopes will be useful in their battle against the likes of Shiba Inu, Dogecoin, Floki Inu, Akita Inu, Samoyedcoin and the other canine cryptos.

Out With The Old And In With The New?

Trends come and go all the time, and cryptocurrency is not exempt from this. The tides can change very quickly and if a cryptocurrency does not have a life jacket prepared then it may very well sink. There are currently no signs of the canine crypto's success faltering, but HUH Token is patient and is taking the steps to ensure that they can stand a fighting chance with the more established cryptocurrencies. If HUH Token succeeds, then they may end up being the trailblazers for more 'Utimemes' to come.
