Mumbai, Oct 22 : Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan announced a wind up of 'Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 9' on Sunday after the shoot came to an end. He has got his vocal chords infected due to continuous talking on the show. On his blog, he thanked his team and audience for creating another remarkable history this year.
He stated his thanks to the audience for making Kaun Banega Crorepati a No. 1 show in rankings bringing the Channel Sony to the top. The show started seventeen years back in 2000 with Amitabh Bachchan appearing for the first time on small screen. The concept of Kaun Banega Crorepati was adapted from a knowledge game show called as "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?"

The Senior actor, Amitabh Bachchan, now 75, considers KBC to have given a different shade of success to his career. He further gave a thankful note for the dedication and efforts put in by 450 personnel working relentlessly for the show and also applauded the younger generation of our country who are attempting to bring about a change in the society through their own efforts.
Amitabh Bachchan is currently shooting for the YRF's Thugs Of Hindostan featuring Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
Big B will also be sharing screen space with Rishi Kapoor in 102 Not Outwhich which is going to be alike the Hollywood film The Bucket List. He will soon be seen in Brahmastra with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
