Madhya Pradesh's special investigation team (SIT) from Indore which took the lid off the Pre-Medical Test (PMT) and seized six computer hard discs two years ago is yet to file the charge sheet in the court, the state government said on Wednesday.

State Home Minister Babulal Gaur revealed this in a written reply in the assembly to Congress legislator Jeetu Patwari's question over the issue.

The assembly was informed the first disc was recovered on July 18, 2013, from Bhopal resident Ajay Sen.

In 2013, the crime cell of Indore police arrested a group allegedly involved in the recruitment through pre-medical test. This led to the opening of pandora's box in the form of Vyapam recruitment and admission scam.

In August 2013 the investigation was transferred to Special Tast Force (STF). In April 2014, the state high court set up a Special Investigation Team (SIT) under former Justice Chandresh Bhushan. Under the SIT, the STF started functioning.

The case is being investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation after the Supreme Court directed the chief investigative agency to take up the investigation in the case.
