Fourth-largest faith: 5 interesting infographics that decode Hinduism in US

A new study by Pew has revealed that Hindu population in US has increased by 85.8 per cent since 2007, making Hinduism the fourth largest religion in the country. The number of Hindus in America now stands at 2.23 million.

"The proportion of Hindus in the US population rose from 0.4 percent in 2007 to 0.7 percent last year," according to the Pew Research Center's "Religious Landscape Study" released on Tuesday.

The report also mentioned that it may have underestimated the size of the Hindu population.
