Soon, Andhra Pradesh to get an Aviation City with US help

The US has shown interest in developing an Aviation City in Andhra Pradesh over 1000 acres of land, the state government said.

This was discussed during a meeting between Henry Steingass of US Trade Development Agency (USTDA), and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.

For the proposed project, government will also set up a 1,000 MW micro power grid will also be set up.

Earlier, Vishakhapatnam was named among one of the cities that will be developed into a smart city. A task force has also been set up to implement the project.
